Legal problems are piling up for the Yuba County lawman and two others busted with 250 pounds of marijuana in Pennsylvania over the holidays.
While executing search warrants on five different locations Thursday, authorities, found two illegal assault rifles and another 132 pounds of marijuana.
The deputy, Christopher Mark Heath, who was already out on $1 million bail from Pennsylvania, was being held as of Friday evening in Butte County in lieu of $1 million bail. Heath’s wife, along with the wife of one of his two associates were also placed under arrest.
