Greenville recovery | Storm aid relief | Flooding impacts statewide
Recent storms have hampered an already slow rebuilding process in the town of Greenville. Also, Gov. Gavin Newsom Wednesday said $600 United Way checks are on their way to flood-affected farmworkers regardless of their immigration status, and the eleventh atmospheric river to hit California this winter left the Golden State reeling.

Also, the Butte County Board of Supervisors heard a request yesterday from the Honey Run Covered Bridge Association for a loan to rebuild the iconic bridge, and community organizers are pushing for change six years after Desmond Phillips' death.

Also, California lawmakers approved a bill to require new pricing transparency from oil companies, and a study by the non-partisan Public Policy Institute of California found that more than 70% of California prison inmates are serving added years behind bars for sentence enhancements.

Miocene Canal future | Shasta storm aid | Sacramento airport improvements
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) proposed a transfer of water rights for the Miocene Canal to Butte County. Also, California Gov. Gavin Newsom added four counties, including Shasta, to a previous storm state of emergency declaration, and the nearest international airport for most North State residents will be getting some improvements.
