At more than 370,000 acres, the Park Fire is now one of the largest in California history. Earlier today, we brought you a press conference from officials who said that while many evacuations have been downgraded, residents need to remain patient.

The fire has burned more than 50,000 acres in Butte County, but most of the acreage—more than 315,000 acres—has burned in Tehama County.

Today, we focus on Tehama County, where today NSPR’s Alec Stutson spoke with officials and people staying at the evacuation shelter in Los Molinos, as well as Tehama County Board of Supervisor Pati Nolen.
