This is NSPR’s new weekday show about the local and regional effects of COVID-19 in the North State. Listen each weeknight Mon-Fri at 6:30 p.m. NSPR will continue this special coverage as long as our community needs it. Our mission with this show is to provide accurate news and information about COVID-19 in our region.
Tonight, we check in with the North State’s District 2 Representative and Congressman Jared Huffman about a two trillion dollar bill created to save the nation’s economy, which is set to go before the house tomorrow.
We check-in with the Butte County Public Health Department about their effort to set-up emergency tents up for possible patient isolation and supply storage if a large uptick does occur. Also, we’ll hear from a person on the front lines of this pandemic, a grocery store clerk about how he’s been handling being in the public.
We want to hear from you! If you have questions for us, leave them on our website or call our message line 530-433-9216. For Thursday, March 26, 2020, this is special coverage on the coronavirus.
