Art With Simbala, For The Children

On October 30 from 3p - 6, Amma Culture - Education, Sciences & Arts presents, "Art With Simbala, For The Children" at Chico Women's Club.

Enjoy a a fun and creative family observance of "Dia De Los Muertos", as well as Indigenous peoples of the world.

World renowned multimedia artist, Simbala Desille will educate, facilitate and instruct children and adults in painting techniques, as well as history.. Ms Desilles is a multicultural, biracial woman, and world traveler, with a passion for encouraging the youth. She was born in Mexico to an African American man and French woman and grew up in the Bay Area, as well as Northern California.

A light meal and music are provided. Donations will be accepted at the door. Doors open at 2:30. The public is welcome.

Amma Culture is an African inspired resource for youth, families, educators, and the general public. Their aim is to help increase awareness, acceptance, and appreciation, among our diverse community, through enlightenment and exposure, entertainment, education, and comradrie with other caring community members.
