A Biggs man accused of moving a pound of meth a week in Butte County was sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison, federal prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said 43-year-old Federico Aguilar headed a group that distributed nearly 50 pounds of the addictive and destructive drug over a four month period in 2013.
When arrested at his home, authorities found 15 cell phones, five firearms and $50,000 concealed in a bathroom air duct.
