Good Medicine: An Evening of Live Native Stand-Up

Good Medicine, the all-Native comedy show, is coming to Chico for a night of laughter after selling out nationwide venues. The show, hosted and produced by comedian Jackie Keliiaa, features the best Native comedians across North America. Good Medicine was founded in 2020 and was initially launched as a virtual comedy show to raise money for tribes impacted by COVID-19.

Lish Bills, Maita, Scout The Wise + Brendan & Linda

Lish Bills will perform tonight at Naked Lounge to promote his latest album “All Love and No Heart." The lineup also includes Maita from Portland, and local artists Scout The Wise, and Brendan and Linda.

The legendary and Grammy-nominated Jamaican reggae fusion band Third World will perform tomorrow night at Lost On Main St. Celebrated as one of the most enduring reggae-fusion bands in history, they have five decades of experience and have worked alongside renowned artists such as Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, and Santana. The show will include special guests Kumar Fyah & King Hopeton.

Chico's Thursday Night Market returns to downtown tonight. This year there's a feature, "Movement in the Plaza," which will give folks a chance to join in for some Zumba or belly-dancing, in addition to perusing vendor and farmer booths. Broadway will be closed between 2nd and 4th Streets a half-hour before the event.

Dog owners and lovers are ready to unite at the fourth-annual Woofstock. The Butte Humane Society's festival and fundraiser is a day of music, pups and philanthropy.

Several local musical performances will take the stage, including Max Minardi, Turn Signal, Van Hagar, and Whiskey River Band.

There are also many food options, including Nemo’s Rice Plate, Tacos Los Serranos, and Tom Tom's Island Style.

The Chai House Market

Your Local Marketplace and Chico Chai are hosting a pop-up market, the Chaihouse Market. It will feature a variety of products from women-owned businesses, including candles, jewelry, farm-fresh produce, baked goods, food and tea. Scout the Wise will provide musical entertainment.
