Bullshot Crummond

This comedic spoof parodies cheesy detective films, featuring outlandish action sequences normally exclusive to the screen. German villains kidnap a professor for his diamond formula, prompting his daughter to hire Hugh "Bullshot" Crummond, a supposedly skilled detective who is actually a bumbling fool.

Bidwell Park 120th Birthday Bash

Bidwell Park is celebrating its 120th birthday, and the City of Chico is throwing a party. Partners, Ambassadors, Leaders, and Stewards (PALS) with the City of Chico will offer various events to celebrate the upcoming birthday. Located at the South One Mile Recreation Area, the event will host an array of activities, including a nature stroll with a guided hike by Naturist Instructor Oscar Rodriguez and a “Sketch Out” where you bring your art supplies and draw the natural beauty around you.

Also, music, dancing, and family activities for local community members with a city-wide party.

Bidwell Mansion: The Stories We Tell
