Orquestra Pacifico Tropical blends cumbia, psychedelic and tropical rhythms to keep you dancing all night. Touring Chico from Portland, the 11-piece collective has a warm, lush sound filled with percussion and reverb-soaked guitar.

Sky’s Out Thighs Out is a five-piece musical ensemble that forms during the summer to combat the Chico heat by performing summer-themed songs while clad in mid-thigh length shorts. The ensemble features local musicians Max Minardi, Ben Ruttenburg, Gavin Fitzgerald, Rob Delgardo and Devin Penner.

Chico-based musician Pat Hull releases his new album, "Meridian." Building on a career that spans more than 15 years, Hull experiments with new approaches to his sound while reflecting on family, marriage and mortality.
The singer-songwriter recorded most of the project in Oregon with longtime friends Mark Robbins and Bob Reynolds. Hull told NSPR that sharing a 20-year history with his collaborators fostered a sense of safety and freedom, which ultimately shaped the album's sound.
