She developed censusapi, an R package for easily retrieving U.S. Census data, and is an avid R programmer. She previously worked at the Urban Institute, including two years as a programmer on the Health Insurance Policy Simulation Model. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics and a minor in epidemiology.
