The latest North State and California news on our airwaves for Friday, Dec. 20.

In today’s episode:

Water advocates are speaking out against the controversial Tuscan Water District. They’re urging district residents to vote no on funding the district.

Also, True North Housing Alliance started a program to provide workforce training and counseling at the beginning of the year. The non-profit said it’s been a success and it’s working to secure funding for the future.

Plus, Redding employs two Crisis Intervention Response Teams which handle calls involving people suffering from acute mental health crises. According to reporting by the Redding Record Searchlight, one will soon be disbanded.
