In depth — Chico’s sewer rate increase

Today on Headlines, an in-depth look at Chico’s sewer rate increase.

Chico sewer rates are increasing and possibly by a lot. That’s after the City Council approved a five-year plan last week. Still, the council was torn on its decision.

North State Public Radio Reporter Claudia Brancart has a breakdown of all that’s happened. She spoke with NSPR’s Ken Devol and started by explaining how the new rate plan would work.
