Butte Film Festival

While balancing full-time work and film studies at Butte College, Dillon Tharp spent the past year filming, “Blood on the Northern Ridge,” in Upper Bidwell Park.

The second annual Butte Film Festival returns to the North State this weekend and will take place at the historic State Theatre in downtown Oroville.

Several organizers are working to raise money and collect items for the victims of the Feather River Adventist School shooting, and church leaders announced that North State Seventh-day Adventist schools would be closed for the day.
