The Dixie Fire tore through Greenville on Wednesday night, leaving much of the downtown area in flames. Fire crews battled 40 mph wind gusts to try to protect the town.
As of Friday morning, the Dixie Fire had grown to more than 432,000 acres and was 35% contained.
Cal Fire reported Friday morning that 91 structures and around 40 smaller buildings have been confirmed destroyed. Almost 14,000 additional structures are considered at risk.
