The acclaimed Iranian film, "It Was Just an Accident," screens this weekend in Chico. The plot follows an automotive repairman who abducts a man he believes is the intelligence agent responsible for his past torture, leading to a tumultuous, vengeance-fueled sequence of events. Hailed as a 2025 film standout, won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and is France's submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.

Nor Cal Roller Derby: Home for the Holidays
