This is a holiday provocative cabaret. The production features eleven performers, accompanied by a five-piece musical ensemble. This adults-only show presents a holiday fusion of stage musicals, alluring dance sequences, strong vocal performances, and witty, seductive humor.

The Nutcracker

The Redding Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker, a beloved fixture in the Shasta County holiday calendar, is set to be even more dazzling this year, featuring a live performance of Tchaikovsky's celebrated music by the Shasta Symphony Orchestra.

A Seussified Christmas Carol

Modern Methods + Saucetronaut + Mike Justice

The event will feature the visual artist DJ Saucetronaut, performing alongside the musician and producer Modern Methods. Modern Methods utilizes a variety of tools, including live instruments, looping pedals and synthesizers, to craft a unique fusion of funk, Latin and psychedelic sounds.

Also, the opening act will be DJ Mike Justice.

Your Local Marketplace: Celebration Market

Winter Solstice Clothing Swap

Locals are invited to participate in a Winter Solstice Apparel Exchange and Safe Space Donation Collection. Attendees should bring pre-owned garments they wish to exchange with others looking to revitalize their closets. Representatives from Safe Space will also be present to accept donations.

Angel Huracha has been a part of the journalism field since 2006 and has covered a range of topics. He is a graduate of Chico State with a Bachelor's degree in news-editorial and public relations with a minor in English.
Alisa is a Chico native but also spent five years living in Orange County while attending CSU-Fullerton, earning a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. She has had acting training through her degree as well as through participation in local theatre.
