The film follows a father as he takes his two young kids on a journey across the American West. During the road trip, his young daughter begins to grasp the hidden truth behind their curious trek. This coming-of-age story delivers a brilliant turn by "Past Lives" and "First Cow" actor John Magaro.

Listen Up! House Concerts, the Chico concert series, brings you New Mexico singer-songwriter Max Gomez. Influenced by country blues, he has a sound all of his own and will be performing all original music.

This month’s Friday Funky Function is one for the books. DJ host Amburgers always plays the best in funk, groove and disco, and this month’s guest is DJ D-Hastie. You may recognize him from the keyboard in legendary bands like Orgone, Say She She and Woolfy vs Projection.

Calling all vinyl lovers, collectors and admirers! Outpatient Records is hosting a vinyl pop-up this weekend. Matthew Garcia, record collector and music connoisseur, says this labor of love is a way for him to connect with the community. Grab a slice and buy some records.

Help the Chico Vietnam Veterans of America plant their southwest Chico garden to support food-insecure veterans and low-income residents. Volunteers will be greeted with coffee and donuts and fed a barbecue meal at the end of the day!

Gear up for a weekend of fun at the Glenn County Fair! You'll find everything you’d expect from a county fair: food, carnival games, live entertainment and livestock.
Kids are free on Friday, and first responders and veterans get free entry with proper ID on Saturday. There's also a destruction derby in the grandstand on Saturday night.
