Author and environmental activist Jennie Romer helped push for plastic bag bans in California and New York.

Her latest book, “Can I Recycle This? A Guide To Better Recycling And How To Reduce Single-use Plastics,” explores and answers questions about the dos and don’ts of the recycling world.

North Valley Waste’s spokesman Paul Rosynsky answers questions about local curbside recycling.

Closing the show with Eric Miller, Division Manager for the Butte County Public Works Department based at the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility. He will describe the process of recycling mattresses.

Nancy Wiegman has a master's degree in French linguistics from Indiana University and taught yoga and foreign languages at CSU Fresno and the College of Charleston before moving to Chico in 1990.
