Nancy's Bookshelf: A Chico father publishes his deceased son’s book

Chico author and explorer David Simmons completed three circles around the globe. He learned to speak three languages and completed degrees in the United States, Germany, and Russia.

Simmons lost his life in a devastating landslide.

His father, Randy Simmons, has finished his son’s life’s work by creating a book from his son’s manuscript.
