Nancy's Bookshelf: Two former Chico State faculty members write about two very different kinds of militia

On April 29, 1981, American journalist George Thurlow was shot by members of the El Salvador Treasury Police on a jungle road in San Salvador. Thurlow writes about his experience in "El Salvador: Blood On All Our Hands" and details the incident.

Also, author and retired professor Robert Jackson writes a fictional account of the Jefferson State Rebellion.
