Jamie Johnston, an author from Paradise and a survivor of the 2018 Camp Fire, chronicled her coming-of-age story and challenges in “Following Breadcrumbs: Tales of a Rock ‘n’ Roll Girl Child.”
Her early life included growing up a rebel in Hollywood and, in 1972, signing a contract with the Beatles' record producer alongside her songwriting partner. She eventually relocated to Paradise.
