Arson suspect in Bidwell Mansion fire changes plea | Chico joins protesters across the country to oppose Trump Administration | Recovery plan out for Bidwell Mansion

The latest North State and California news on our airwaves for Thursday, Feb. 6.

In today’s episode:

Kevin Alexander Carlson entered a no contest plea today to felony arson charges stemming from the Bidwell Mansion fire in December.

Also, protesters in Chico were some of thousands of people who marched nationally this week to oppose recent policies from the Trump Administration. Those who gathered on Chico State’s campus said they would stand up for the immigrant population in the community.

Plus, State Parks said there will be three phases of recovery for the Bidwell Mansion at this week’s Chico City Council meeting. Phase one could take up to a year and includes initial recovery efforts such as clean-up and item recovery and adding more site security.
