Butte County wildfire recovery needs | North State water conference focuses on unity | LaMalfa reintroduces Secure Rural Schools Act bill

The latest North State and California news on our airwaves for Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

In today’s episode:

Butte County supervisors will soon send a letter to Gov. Gavin Newsom detailing unmet needs regarding wildfire recovery. The board also discussed sending another letter to President Donald Trump and Congressman Doug LaMalfa about concerns regarding how tariffs could impact exports in the county.

Also, community leaders and policymakers met last week to discuss the future of water in California.

Plus, Friday is the deadline for approval of an act that would provide federal money to many schools in North State counties.
