Artist and American Sign Language teacher Valerie Rose is opening an art gallery in downtown Chico. The first artist on display is Dylan Tellesen. Half of the proceeds from the artwork will benefit the Sign Club.

The Stardust Revue: Something Wicked This Way Comes

The Stardust Revue continues to delight audiences with its signature burlesque and drag variety show. Local performers are ready to bring the spooks to Duffys as they celebrate Halloween early.

Nobuhiko Obayashi’s 1977 film “House” can be both stunning and creepy. Audiences may remember it best as a psychedelic trip and as surprisingly comedic. A young girl named Gorgeous visits her aunt’s home for a getaway with friends, but not everything is as it seems.

Singer-songwriter Dean Johnson will bring his Americana blend to his official debut in Chico, with help from local favorite Pat Hull and Nashville’s Emily Hines. Johnson is touring in support of his latest album, "I Hope We Can Still Be Friends." His 2023 debut album made waves and drew comparisons to John Prine and Roy Orbison.
